Huntings Bridge, Shropshire Union

I had forgotten how noisy the Wolverhampton moorings are.  Police helicopter, sirens, trains and two policemen flashing their torches through the windows, and then it rained!

We started on the locks at 0730 in the mist and arriving at lock 10 went to get the bacon butties. Sh**!  The van wasn't open!  I could smell the bacon cooking too.  So on we went and I walked back from lock 11 when the shutters were up.  Saved! Ken joined us and we made the bottom lock in just 2 3/4 hours.

Last night we ran out of electricity and decided we needed new batteries.  So we stopped off at Oxley to buy 3 batteries - it only took 3 1/2 hours!

A lovely sunny day, lots more signs of spring.  Glad to be out.

Two adorable decoupaged kittens.  I cut the edges of a piece of blue card with a Martha Stewart punch and wrapped some blue ribbon around it, tied in a knot.  This was fixed to the front of a white card blank and added the kittens.  The sentiment was fixed to the top right hand corner and 4 blue pearls were added for decoration.
