Castle Cutting Bridge 30 - Shropshire Union Canal

Saw this growing out of the side of a GRP boat at the Wolverhampton Boat Club.

Oh! It’s so nice to be out again.  Another quiet night and woken by the dawn chorus.  Lots of primroses on the banks and lambs in the fields.  We stopped for a pumpout at Wheaton Aston and moored up at 11am.  Almost a perfect day.  We managed to book the Liverpool Link by Internet.  It was relatively easy, though I had to download a copy of the form, print it off, fill it in and then scan it to send it back.  It’s about time they sorted that out.

Here is a cheat!  The girl was cut out from a card magazine.  First I pasted it onto some thin card and then fussy cut it out before sticking it onto a white oval matted onto a pink scalloped oval.

The base card was a white, gatefold card and I added a Martha Stewart border punched panel in pink on the left hand side, wrapping pink polkadot ribbon around the blank side.  The topper was just stuck down to the left hand front of the card and several paper flowers were added to the right hand side.
