Market Drayton, Shropshire Union Canal

One of the long, straight narrows on the Shroppie on a misty, early morning.

And, just as we were arriving into Market Drayton, we met this gentleman fishing by the side of the canal!

We were in Market Drayton by 1000 after a smooth descent of Tyerley Locks – only nearly lost the boat once in the middle of the pound!

David went off to Morrison’s to do the shopping and I caught a bus into Shrewsbury, also for some shopping and also a nostalgic look around.  We lived between Shrewsbury and Oswestry for about 10 months way back.

A "Downton Abbey" card.  I matted the pink patterned paper onto white and then pink card and wrapped the white lace and pink ribbon around it, fixing it at the back.  Then I made a pink ribbon bow fixing it with a large decroative brad and two pearl headed pins.  The topper was added to the right hand side and the whole thing was fixed to a square, white card blank.

I forgot to take the photo before putting it in the cello bag!
