Paddington Basin, Grand Union Paddington Arm

David having more fun with his camera.  This heron actually stayed put as we went past.

We have got our timings for leaving Limehouse next Friday for our first trip upstream to Brentford this year.  1120, with two other boats, Dragonfly and Herbie 2.  Friends from Wildflower will be joining us for the weekend.

We took the bus to Spitalfields market this morning, it seemed very sanitised from what we remembered - no indoor football matches but lots of posh restaurants and newbuilds.  Our favourite shop, Queens, had disappeared too.

A white card blank.  the flowers were stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured with watercolour paints.  I used scallop edged scissors to cut out the panel which was then matted onto some frayed, white, handmade paper and then onto lilac card.

Some yellow organdie ribbon was wrapped around the front of the card and tied in a bow
